For lighting, I use 3 60 watt bulbs from 3 different lamps.

My camera is a Canon, I think an A85 and go to manual mode to set up everything the way I think it should be.

I edit the photos using a stripped down version of an IBM editing program that came with another camera.

As Mike G will tell you, it's a lot of trial and error to get things set up right. Once you do, write it all down!!

I can't remember, did the final car have these same rims on the front. I know this one shot was an early prepro sample.

I used to own a 2-door Chevelle wagon, so this is one of my favorites. I'm working on a custom to replicate my old ride, I'll have it finished one of these years.

This was taken about 22 yrs.ago, I still have that 400 sb. Its in a '60 Chevy p/u now.

You just don't see Keystone mags like that anymore.

Here's another one for the Holidays.

No, I think it had the chrome slots all the way around.

This car belonged (belongs, I guess) to Jeff Smith, who has been staffer and editor of Hot Rod, Car Craft, Chevy High Performance, and some other Petersen/Primedia books.

This PIP was another Jairus masterpiece. It was on my want list for ages but I finally got it about a week ago from E-Pay. I dig all the details and the writing on the windows. I also have the blue and the white version of this casting, tee-pees and doggy doo doo included! I can't wait for the new wagon (Caprice) to come out.

As Wyatt said, Chrome Slots all around:

They're actually refered to as Centerlines I think.

These are slots.

Lummox is right. The wheels on the wagon are Cragar Street Lite wheels. The slot mags are seen on the VW.

Thought these were Cragar SSTs. I only knew them as MC1 7-11s.

Wyatt thanks for those beautiful pictures. The red one is my favourite, nice combination with the grey rims.

The door of my garage is always open for those kind of castings!
