In the time frame when this casting was originally released; Tom Lowe owned Playing Mantis.
And as Jeff Koch has stated many times "Tom Lowe decided what casting would be made".
We as collectors are very fortunate indeed that this casting was actually made.
When you consider how rare the real version of the casting was, we should be pleased.
It is a long time since I have seen any images of this casting.
Another one that I always liked.
This is the first one that I remember adding to my collection a very long time ago.
It is from Corvettes release 2 JL #342-02.
