Thanks Wyatt for the picture.
I have never thought of this specific vehicle as a bubble-top.
I just think of it as a nice looking car.
The last time that I saw one of these was one painted white with a red interior.
But it didn't have a 421 CID engine.
Speaking of 421, did anyone notice the 421 decal on the front fender of the casting in Wyatt's picture?
A nice detail addition to this JL casting. And I love the steelies on it. JL did this right!

Cheers. Cobra

Foot note: this was my post #389.
How fitting when you consider the significance of that number in the world of Pontiacs.

Another great JL casting!!! Though I don't feel they hit a homerun with it yet. smile.gif Here's a hint/head start for RC2. Think flat black steelies and wide white walls. Flat black(no trim/emblems) paint with a red interior. Oh my!!!!!

As long as I am off my Bowtie kick, here is another fab car, JL did it up right withthis one, and I love the wheels. And black would of been just as nice.

Yep, another great choice! Wonderful pics as always Wyatt. But those wheels will never be safe near Lummox!

I wondered if Lummox, has this passion for Steelies on his real live 1:1 cars? And if so, DOn't park your car too close to Lummox restorations without a few good concrete blocks handy.

Yepper, that's usually all I'll run, exept sometimes I run doggie-dishes.
But I think my full-size Furys look best with just plain ol' bare-nuts-a-showin' steelies.

I'm watching "Pinks-All Out" while reading this and got a weird image in my head. I see Lummox with his Fury on the starting line, it says "Dirty Dave" on the doors and "Bare-nuts-a-showin'-balls-out-racing" on the trunk lip. And I'm hearing "Surfin Bird" by The Cramps comming out of the stereo. ...tell me have you heard? The Burd is the word...

The roof is a little goofy on that one ... I think the 62 Chevy nailed the look right on. Anyone have a shot of the two side by side?
