Thank you Wyatt for choosing this particular casting.
There are a lot of collectors who like this one, me included.
A vintage vehicle that almost has a cult following.
One of my wife's all time favourite JL castings.

Maybe it is time for Mac and team to come out with new one.
How about black with yellow flames or green metallic with gold pin-stiping .
Or red with white scallops.
Or dark grey with black ghost flames or the reverse of this idea.
I can come up with lots of colour schemes and ideas.

Let's make it happen.

This may be my all time favourite '40 - '41 Willys.
It is black. And it was the first variation with Cragar SS mags.

And another nice one:

The Willys that was campagned by Jr. Thompson.
If you do a web search on Jr. Thompson, you will find some useful links and information.
Give it a try.

Jr. Thompson website can be found at www.jrthompson.net
Make sure that you turn down the volumn on your computer before accessing the site.
There are links to other Gasser drivers.
A very interesting place to visit.
I have vistited there several times.
Maybe I should bookmark it.

Cheers. Cobra

Just another ole thread that has some faboulous pics of a classic car and a classic JL issue (s)
I agree, JL needs to bring back the Willys for another go round. Oh what the heck, a whole series of classic Gassers would be just the cat ordered.

    Now I'm hooked!
