This casting brings back memories of when I started collecting JL cars in January of 1998. I bought the Truckin' America series first, and the Postal series a little later.

I still think this is a nice casting, especially if you do a wheel swap with rubber wheels.

Nice pic Wyatt! thumbsup.gif

The first one that I bought was from Truckin' America, too.
It was blue coloured with the big fat whitewall tires.
A very nice casting but I didn't like the whitewall tires on a TRUCK!
I never bought any of the Postal series castings.
The one below is my favourite of the castings that I have in my collection:

And thanks Wyatt for the latest edition of "The Picture Of The Week".

I'd like to see JL get alittle wild with this casting by popping the hood off of this truck, add a big beefy motor and then slap a Meatball number on the door! Great picture Wyatt. thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

Their were a lot of good castings in the Truckin' America series.
Trucks make up a good part of my collection, and I love the old ones.
Great choice Wyatt thumbsup.gif

An early casting that has managed to stand the test of time. Not all of them have. Thanks Wyatt for a fun pic.

Gerry, I think I like the parts-truck variant best. I dig the Moon one as well, but then I'm biased regarding such things.

    Now I'm hooked!

Love the mooneyes, I don't get excited about the other ones. Never saw them in real. Thanks for the picture Wyatt....
