Custom 1959 AMC Rumblur (Rambler American Station Wagon), casting #554, date 1997.

No known variations.

I only have two of the Rumblurs......the RWB from the TW and the new pink Rumblur.

I have the RWB one (now there's a surprise! laugh.gif )

Have to wonder, what would a nice stock version look like? The body would have to be raised a touch and some dog dishes would be in order.... Sounds like a custom project.... thumbsup.gif

One of the first series I had spec'ed out was the last release of Wicked Wagons. The three black-with-flamed Tri-Five Nomads were already done, and I wanted to mix things up a little. I did the Rumblur in Trans-Am red-white-blue colors. Something alluding to the heritage, etc.

When it came out, the sales guy asked me why I put the French flag on a car.

He wasn't kidding.

I'm glad to say I have 4 different versions of the AMC Rumblur in my collection. Including the new tri-pink one from WW Rel 4 smile.gif .

I'm guessing he wasn't a "car guy", Jeff? That's the difference between "them" and "us". I think it's cool that you even thought of that! BTW, always a pleasure to look on the main page and see your name as a poster!
