Gotta agree with Mr. Bowtie here!! Two thumbs up & two hurrahs for Wyatt's choice of a sweet third gen. Chevy Camaro for the week! I need JL to make one in a golden yellow color so I can snap a pic that would match the sticker on the Speccast Camaro Legends trailer! But you've gotta love the solid red Iroc one above - it was very popular when released! Thanks, again Wyatt!

Thanks Wyatt for the latest Picture Of The Week.
I'm not sure if you would consider this one a variation or not, but I do have it in my collection:

There was also the Highway Patrol version that I don't have:

The P.O.T.W. is the feature that I look forward to seeing each week.
Wyatt, your efforts certainly are appreciated. Thanks!

Cheers. Cobra

Not really a fan of the third gens but I must say that they do look great in red.

    Now I'm hooked!

When I was in high school, there was an IROC around every corner. I always enjoyed reading articles in Car & Driver at the time pitting various Camaros against 5 liter Mustangs and the Mustangs almost always clobbered the Camaros...good times... biggrin.gif

Around that time, I had a '74 Nova with a built 350 (4-bbl, fuelie heads, 4.56 gears) and was at a stoplight next to a guy and his friends in an IROC. The light changed and I came of the throttle easy, but still left him in the dust--he just sat there with his wheels spinning. Ahh--the joys of low gears and posi-traction... cool.gif

Has anybody who has one ever looked really close at the Highway Patrol version. Mine has unusual cracks in the black paint, and I have heard of others as well. Very strange, I wonder if other cars from that same period of time got the same paint in China?

Sweet. I'm happy with any Camaro between 1970 & 1992
