That casting is definitely one of the better new ones that has come out in recent years and one of my favorite. JL did an awesome job on that one. Don't forget about the zinger variation! That was one of the first ones I de-zinged!

I like this casting Wyatt.

Wait until 6-b-kwik sees the picture of the week. I'm sure he'll add some nice pics of this casting.

The other Mopars of the period, Chrysler, Imperial, and Dodge had some equally beautiful models. I sure would love to see JL make some of those!

They already have a few more castings they could retool and use.

Those are neat cars Guntownal , But so far all the re-used RC castings JL has used have been dechromed ! I would like them to use chrome on the bumpers like RC originally did , instead of painting them silver ....
Not sure if that 57 Plymouth is up to todays standards for detail / proportions .. I have them all .

These are my two favourites of this casting:

In the image directly above, I like this particular wheel variation.
Strictly vintage.
Both of the above castings get top billing from me.
They are beauties.
I am extremely pleased that the JL Team decided to make this casting.
Very well done with great detail.

And this one above shows class all the way.
I love the colour combination.

Thanks Wyatt for the Picture Of The Week.

Cheers. Cobra

The detail on this one is spectacular--and the casting is much improved from the old "Christine" one.

Cobra made an excellent point about the wheel cover variation, and that was the reason I picked this one up. Too many times the wheel covers are plain and non-descript, but this one definitely screamed 50s to me. thumbsup.gif

    Now I'm hooked!

This is a very nice casting. I have more then one version in my collection including the zinger. I'm surprized the regular version of Christine has not been done yet. I can't wait for that one smile.gif .

DW, it could just happen.
As I believe that TomZ does read many of the threads here.
Now, that would be one hot commodity.
Here's hoping, beerchug.gif
