We have JLTalk Anniversary cars #52 and #53 looking for homes so we'd like to have a little contest to give them away.

Last year for the 2007 New Year picture, I posted a picture of one car from each year ending in 7.

This year, I have taken the picture, one of each car made by Johnny Lightning with a year ending in 8. The years covered are 48, 58, 68, 78, 88, & 98. I sent the picture to Bobby for authentication.

Who can enter?

Any board member not on the list of people who received or will receive an Anniversary car already.

What do you do?

Guess what cars and colors are on the picture.
For example: 1948 - Blue Chevy Truck

I will post the picture and winners on New Years day instead of the Saturday before to give everyone time to make a good guess. One guess per person, you can change it any time up until New Years day. Please post your guess in this thread. Top two guesses win!

Please no guesses by those not in the contest.

There are 6 cars in the picture. The goal is to guess all 6 and the 2 people with the most correct answers win.

There is one car from each of the years 48, 58, 68, 78, 88, and 98.

I used a point scale, each casting counts 1 and each color counts 1.

Swifty got the Tucker = 1, the '78 Cobra in Red, = 2, and the Porshce in Red = 2 for a total of 5.

wlpaul got the Tucker in Gold = 2, and the Porsche in Red = 2 for a total of 4.

davidj got the Tucker = 1, the '78 Mustang = 1, the Porsche in Red = 2, and the Corvette = 1 for a total of 5.

Awesome! I thought that one in the back looked like a C5 Corvette and yet I couldn't find a '98 Vette in my JL collection. Never would have guessed the Javelin in a million years (and this is coming from an AMC fan ) or the Plymouth.
